Betsy's Quiltin' Barn is now closed for business. My adventure for the past year and 1/2 has been just that - an adventure. I bought this business not knowing how to quilt, knit or crochet. I have found that I "like quilting" but I'm "in love" with knitting and crocheting - - - sssooo after saying that, I'm opening a yarn/cross-stitch store with my garden center and keeping them both open year-round.(my garden center has been seasonal in years past) The yarn store will include yarns (of course), patterns and books, needles and accessories for knitting or crocheting, classes, sit-n-knits and much more; also, the cross-stitch section will have cross-stitch fabrics and threads for stitching.

In the yarn store, we will also have a long-arm machine and operator to take care of your quilting needs.

When the garden center/yarn store opens, the name will still be Betsy's Barn; just a little different - Betsy's Barn - Garden & Yarn.

We are in the middle of remodeling the soon-to-be yarn/cross stitch store. It's going slow until I close the garden center for the season on November 1. Then we can dig in and get things rolling with the remodeling. Hope to be open by Christmas, if not sooner. I will post the date as soon as I'm sure when it is.
